News & Announcements

Aloha Waimalu Elementary Families:

This is just a reminder that our Meet and Greet will be tomorrow, Thursday, July 30. You may drive through and drop off your child’s supplies in our school’s parking lot from 7:30-9:00 a.m., and again from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Please be sure that your child’s school supplies are labeled, and bagged.

At 5:00 p.m., July 30, I will be holding a virtual meet and greet for parents. If you would like to join the session, you may join by going to https://bit.ly/WESmeet

A survey on your technology needs was sent out as well. This survey was to help us determine how to best help all of our families with distance learning. If you feel that you will need assistance in either securing a device or accessing the Internet, and were unable to complete this survey, please call our office.

Thank you for your patience and support during these unprecedented times. I look forward to meeting all of you tomorrow.

SY20-21 Reopening of School

Aloha Waimalu Families:

We are very excited to start the new school year. I’m sure you know that school will look very different this year, and we have attached some information to help make the start of school a little smoother.

Attached you will find a school reopening guide. Please read this carefully. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the school office. Also attached is a technology survey. Please complete this survey, as it will help us to determine the needs of our families as we move to distance learning when students are not in school. Again, if you have any questions, please feel free contact me at the school office.

We very much appreciate your patience and understanding as we also learn a “new normal.”

Please stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Glen Iwamoto
